About Us
CSS was founded in late 2008 by three former Steve and Barry’s employees who came together with a vision of starting a new tradition in campus retailing. The goal was simple: build great looking stores that offered the latest in collegiate apparel, and sell it at the lowest possible price, without jeopardizing quality or service.

Combined, Mark, Dave and Dan have over 40 years of retail experience, most of it on college campuses. They couple that experience with a generous amount of input from the student employees at CSS. All buying decisions are carefully filtered through the student employees so that the stores are always stocked with the latest trends in collegiate clothing, most of it manufactured right here in the United States. In fact, CSS is using domestic screen printers for all printed garments! You can rest easy knowing that the t-shirt you throw on for the game was printed within 50 miles of a CSS store. Wearing a shirt from CSS not only supports your favorite school, but it also supports the local economy.

CSS has locations on the campuses of Michigan State University, the University of Wisconsin, and a new store opening in Boulder Colorado!  Keep an eye out for a Campus Street Sportswear store at your favorite school in the near future.
